HOLD ME

Hold me, embrace me
one more time before you leave;
don't just turn away from love,
don't just walk away.

Hold me, embrace me
the way you used to do;
I can't forget the memories,
I can't forget the good times.

You said "Hold me, embrace me"
and I would hold you tenderly
until the need for comfort
was something you didn't need.

No one to hold me, embrace me,
no use in going on -
I've lost the one I love
and a little bit of me...

I turn to other arms
and look into other eyes -
and I say - "hold me..."
