When The Stone Was Rolled Away

When the stone was rolled away
On that glorious Easter Day,
Sin and death were overturned,
Our salvation He had earned.

Trapped no more by sin's dark power,
We can praise that joyful hour
When the Son of God arose,
Woken from dread death's repose.

Let His glory shine today,
So that we may see His way,
Follow in His path of grace,
Til in Heaven we take our place.
