Dear little kitten
Loved by Furmom and Furdad, I loved you too. You were their firstborn, You were the child of their hearts, And of mine too. Now I remember How they brought you home to me, Sweet little one. Now I remember You were so shy and quiet, Beautiful one. You lived happily Here for so many years, Dear Baby Grey. I’ll never forget Your quiet, peaceful gaze, My Baby Grey. In my memory I will hold you dear ‘til the End of my days. Written for the poem per day challenge, February 20th, 2005
