The Four Winds
Sometimes my thoughts belong to the four winds

" The Four Winds "

Some of the things we hold so dear,
cherished memories held so clear.
Into the bright sunrise we'll peer,
hypnotized by the warmth so near.

Locked in life's tightening chains,
cryptic tales told in cries of pain.
Searching for the answers in vain,
the true answers that never came.

To live and die in the blink of time,
in the oneness of our open minds.
Lost in the darkness of the blind,
read the truth between the lines.

Lusting forever down by the sea,
drenched by doubt we will agree.
Life is simple and meant to be free,
a life to be enjoyed by you and me.

All the answers may never be found
as the mystery goes round and round.
We look back at where we've been,
now the only question left is when?

We'll never get to go around again,
against time, no one can ever win.
We pray that we're forgiven our sins,
souls free and cast to the four winds.
