Angel Unaware

ANGEL UNAWARE

Stranger-Medic-Angel unaware,
Your hands were an instrument
In the hand of God.
I would have died
When the bombs began to fall,
And the streets burned with fire,
And the buildings crumled like alphabet blocks.
But you saved me.

You grabbed me and ran for shelter
When the air raid sirens began screaming.
You barely made it yourself
Before hell descended.
I don't know your name
But you are in my heart.
And God knows that you are in my heart.
And God knows that I value you.
Thank You,
You have earned your wings.
