GOD’S WAYS—a sonnet on tsunami
We need not lose faith just because He kills Through ways that are too cruel to mankind. We need not hate the gory wicked thrills He gets from acts of the tsunami kind. Why can’t He be more kind to His own sons Who worship Him and look at Him with awe? Why can’t He kiss and save the little ones? Why to death He should His own children draw? Human logic just cannot fathom out His ways often set deep in mystery. Men are often left wondering about Past events chronicled in history. Have faith in Him and His perplexing ways. He does care for His own children always. * A devastating tsunami occurred in India on 26 December 2004, [Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Indian_Ocean_earthquake] • *Awarded Third Prize in "The Elementalist Contest" * Showcased in the Spiritual Newsletter dated 5 January 2011.
