SPRING WALK The day was dawning bright and clear, waking the soul to nature's call - I'd go out for a nice spring walk to enjoy the beauty of it all. I was lost in thought as I walked and covering more than a mile or two, I didn't notice the approaching storm; for me the day was still bright and new. The rain began to softly fall gathering strength and speed; Soon drenching me completely, a surprise shower I didn't need! I jogged on home and went inside, toweling off my rain-soaked hair; There's nothing like a spring walk to lift you out of everyday care! Countrymom 3/22/05
