SIT IN MY LAP
Searching eyes, gentle eyes, Sleepy and half shut; Gentle fur, purring fur, Silken to the touch. Stealthy gait, silent gait, Without any noise; Though your looks are timid, You have grace and poise. What a thought, you have got, In your little mind? Mine, you seem to know but, To yours, I am blind. Little cat, slightly fat, Come, sit in my lap. I must cut your diet; You have too much flab. * Written in abcb 6-5-6-5 format. M C Gupta 23 March 2005
