Bananas, apples, peaches, pears,
Just looking at fruit brings me to tears, What do you mean ‘Five Servings a Day’? I look at them and think, “No way!” Chocolate is my fruit of the day, It grew on a tree a long way away, It’s good for me, or so I’ve been told, And over me it has a great hold. So five times a day chocolate I’ll eat, For chocolate is my fruity treat. Written for the rhyming poem challenge, March 26th, 2005
