"In The Shadow" We walk in the shadows of those wiser than us. Lonely wanderers in time, fate leads us, it must! We will come to that crucial fork in the road. The one that our fathers and mothers foretold, All the things we'll do are but simple choices. Conscience calls to us, those quiet little voices. We'll wage war with Mr. Wrong and Mr. Right. A right choice made, we'll sleep better at night! All our trials and hardships lay behind us at last. It toughened our character as time itself passed. The right decisions made from wisdom handed down, We lived our lives true with our feet on the ground. The decisions are for us to make and us all alone. One road leads us astray and the other back home. We'll not forget that we've been taught very well. For the one leads to Heaven and the other to Hell! ![]()
