"Reunited Lovers"

Satin lace and silent kisses,
The fragrant breath of love.
Tender hearts and lovers wishes,
White wispy clouds above.

Recited sonnets by the sea,
Measured words spoken to last.
Sea gulls sound a shrill decree
As an auburn sunset passed.

Lonely hearts and distant miles,
Yet another lover cries.
Affection worn on knowing smiles,
Love's attraction satisfies.

Solitary souls holding hands,
Distance dwelling in the past.
Vows made where they stand,
A lover's union they will grasp.

Feelings closed a distant gap,
Cupid's arrow never misses.
Something not found on any map,
Satin lace and silent kisses.
