NATURE AND MAN
Circumstances keep on changing, Constantly slip sands of time. Events happen day and night but Thoughts remain rather sublime. Nothing is more devastating Than shaking of land and sea. But these fail to overawe man’s Fighting spirit, ingenuity. Human spirit is undaunting and Survives every holocaust. It builds up again from ashes What was once broken and lost. Nature is a friend of man but It’s a powerful jinnee. When man goes against the nature, He seals his own destiny! * Written in abcb 8-7-8-7 format * Written for a contest where the poem had to start with ‘Circumstances’ and end with ‘destiny’.
