God's On My Side

You Push me down
You beat me up
You spit hate words at me
You try to mess with my mind
You make me think I am worthless
You set guilt trips upon me
You try to make me depressed
You try to destroy my walk with God
However, This you must hear
For you are defeated!
I am washed in the blood of Christ
My God is worn I trust
His word is sharper that of a two-edged sword
And he promises that if I call his name
He will be there
He has taken away the fears
You so tried to place upon me
He has given me the breastplate
of righteousness
The sword of the spirit
The belt of truth
And the shield of faith
I can do all things through Christ
Which strengthens me!
And You. Devils... are going down
And your wicked army
So don't bother messing' with me
For God is on my side
And soon you will be pounded to the dirt
And beatened up
And spat on
You are the worthless one!
Lower then dirt
So Satan, go ahead. Make my day!
Every knee will bow,
and every tongue will confess
That Jesus Christ in the lord!
