If you leave me, I will die
If you resurrect me, I will ask why You lift me onto my feet and say “try” You help me spread my wings and learn how to fly You launch me up into the blue sky What happens next when the sky turns gray? I can see it now, very clearly, your lie I wonder how many times you can betray You’re the only one for who I would cry Still, when you talk, your tone is dry Once again, you leave me as a stray You never ask about me, night or day But my love for you will forever stay
