Dark Cloud
The inner self.

A thick dark cloud hovers within
hanging over dark masses of emptiness.
It just hangs there;it never moves.
I wait for its departure,
but the more I wait, the more it just hangs there
-complacent,assured, fearless.

It hangs there as though at some point in time, someone tried to reason with it but to no avail.
"Why o' why won't you leave?" I ask, however, it doesn't answer. It just hangs there - complacent,
assured, fearless. When will it end? Perhaps in the next few moments, tonight or tomorrow. It's never ending. I see light, it knows that I see light, but it just hangs there -complacent, assured, fearless.
