The elusive me I'm not going to tell you, How clever and sweet I am. You will not hear on this page That this poem is a sham. I'm not going to reveal, What I fantasize about. I Will not spill my secrets, Or tell you about my gout. I'm not going to recount, What I love and hate in life. I Will not open my mind, Let you see I'm just a wife. I'm not going to chit-chat, About my four gifted kids. I will not discuss my spouse, He'll get angry, God forbid! I'm not going to mention, The first novel I've written. I will not ever disclose That by poems I'm smitten. I'm not going to tell you, A single fact about me. Use your imagination, I've given you the right key April 2005 © ** #948411 Not An Image **
