SPRING IS NEAR

Spring is near, the white ice melts,
There is a greenish spread.
Life shines, weathers’ new cycle
Is waiting straight ahead.

Spring is near, the air is filled
Already with fragrance.
Shining leaves and singing birds
All dance in a cadence.

With new zeal let’s inside feel
Fresh warmth and tenderness.
Ideas are what make a man
Let’s wildest dreams harness!

• Written in abcb 7-6-7-6 format.

• Written for a contest "Invalid Item where the prompt was ‘Spring is near’ with the condition that vowels o and u must not be used.
