Streams Cherry blossoms in the end of May Children played games in the park Lovers hold hands on a spring day The crickets chirped just past dark Two young people with plenty to say A priest knelt down to silently pray Brilliant blue sky, no clouds of grey To each his own has been the way I gazed upon flowers, a labor of love Felt a gentle breeze caress my face Heard the soft coo of a morning dove Walked along a creek at an easy pace Another day wasted, I should think not. Content that I have done what's right They don't appreciate what they've got My choices never kept me up at night One thing always seems to be timeless We pass it on from brother to brother Harder and harder to keep it I confess, is our love and trust of one another. ![]()
