The Poker Game Lyrics I was dealin cards to the Devil. His eyes were mean and cold. My hands steady and stare level I was not sellin him my soul. Ya, another loser in the hole (chorus) another gambler lost his soul Watched him as he shuffled cards, Don't dare take my eyes off him. With fingernails sharp as shards' He said, " How many cards Slim?" (rift) Now poker is a gambler's game, To win you need a poker face. The Devil's face stayed the same. He said,"Game over you need an ace." another loser with no ace in the hole (chorus) One more loser without a soul He and I across from each other, Traded glares as we both laid down. He had gained the soul of another, I looked at him with a beatin frown. (rift) So if you ever play poker with him, Don't forget this sad story of mine. A poker game can end quite grim, When your soul runs out of time. Ya, another gambler loses control (chorus) Another gamblin' man without a soul ![]()
