It’s just that I thought it was over, But that was my first mistake. So I closed my eyes, to all the lies, and my wisdom I did forsake. For I thought I had understanding, or at least so I believed. And with pen as my tool, I became a fool, and a world I did deceive. And the thoughts that now find me wandering, are bound by my regret. And with lesson learned, away I turned, but I could not forget. It’s just that I thought it was over, But that was my first mistake. So I closed my eyes, to all the lies, and the words I knew to be fake. But still it is, I worry. For one can never be sure. The dubiety in life it seems, I ever must endure.
