One Tear One lonely tear fell from her cheek. I turned to leave my knees felt weak. My mind went blank, blue eyes so moist. To be quite frank, I had no choice. I'd gotten the call, off to war I'd go. Stood young and tall, my sadness showed. We shared the laughter of times gone by. It all seemed faster, than the blink of an eye. We stood at crossroads of freedom and love. We'd found each other like two mourning doves. So now that I'm gone, she'll cry every day. One lonely tear shed prayers sent my way. ![]()
