Writing is like...

Writing is like building a cheeseburger.

First you have the bottom bun, this is considered your many drafts, titles and so forth.

Then you have the hamburger and Cheese this is the meat of of your story, the plot, the characters and so much more.

Then you top off the hamburger and cheese with your lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and this is the drama or the interesting parts of your story.

Then of course there is also the sauce that you put on it this is the what you could call the extra things that are in your story and so forth and awe so much more.

And then you have to top off that cheeseburger with the top bun, you know the one with seeds on top, now this is what you could consider the ending of your story, that is full of taste in which you have written and are a waiting to hear the results of your tasteful, built up story in which you have created.
