Note on Your BedStand

Dearest,
As we talk, I write...
for I want you to have this note tonight to help remind you of other things before today. From the beginning our love has been so strong. Look, see I brought the pictures! Here we are, the first one of us ...such a beautiful feeling it was in that hug. All this love God let us share, has spread out everywhere.

See, here we are on the beach,
and the gulls we're feeding
just a bread crumb from reach.
See this one so close with it's wings spread.
Remember? it dropped fast
and grabbed for the bread.

You're tired, too tired to talk...
and you've fallen asleep.
You need the rest now,
so I'll go home for the night.
