Giving In

You want to hold back
yet you know you want to go on.
You remain behind your walls,
your heart's fortress, very strong.

Something outside beckons you,
calling with a sultry voice.
You don't know what you're missing
if you would just take that choice.

Don't be a prisoner to loneliness,
surrender yourself instead,
and let others see the light
that brightly shines inside your head.

It's not as bad as temptation,
you're not falling into sin.
In truth there's only love abound
if you would just give in.
