FIRE IN MY SOUL There is a fire in my soul, burning brightly as my life flashes before my eyes; Intense heat, searing my flesh and I recoil from myself. This hatred cannot last, I crave the cooling waters that will douse the flames of anger, bitterness; Until I forgive, and forget - there will be no peace. There is a fire in my soul, and I know it is hurting me more than it ever hurt you; Memory of passion, burnt offering, it is time to let go. Countrymom 5/19/05
