River Narrow
Life's reflections lie in the river as you meet your fate

If I were to take you there
to the banks of river narrow
would you see ther things I see
whispers, through the golden gloom
can't catch the golden sparrow
flying on to be free

Through the trees, casting spells
the lady of the shadows
An angel hidden by a veil

and on the no-man's ship
the passengers-their souls are stripped
wishing they never had set sail

The sunlight beckons from afar
voices from the grave
acknowledge what we are

If I were to leave you there
on the banks of river narrow
to see reflections that you cast
would you then realize
you've met your unsung gallow
and then lament each day that's passed
