She stares down at the carpet
Time ticking away Distant rings in the backround, The phone. Its her friends mom. Voice raspy from crying, Throat sore from screaming Her heart drops, body goes numb. The funeral is on Saturday. Her stomache ties into a knot, She could have stopped this, If only she told someone, Made her friend stop, Took time to listen. Drugs took hold of her Swirling her into another dimension Where her life was no longer her own Where drugs controlled her destinty, her fate, and each day was a blur. She blamed herself.
