My Crutch
The endless struggle to become who I know I should be

You treat me like you own me somehow,
But you don`t understand that I know now,
You are the last thing that I need in my life,
All you bring is discomfort, pain, and strife,
You are like a ball and chain holding me back,
I need to cut you loose to get my life back on track,
The sad part is I`m talking about me,
The me the world has caused me to be,
Now I realize God forgives and understands,
And I need to put my life back into His hands,
So He can lift me up to the path that is straight,
So I will be sure to enter the pearly gates.
