My life is spinning and spiraling,
Into an unknown pit of despair. My mind twists in circles, Sinister Thoughts I do not dare. One man that I detest, And despise with all my heart. I wish to wrap my arms ‘round him, And rip his limbs apart. His face, it sickens me, I scream in an eternal rage. I feel as though I’m an animal, Locked in an unbreakable cage. Then my young friend appears, And I hold her by my side. She clings to me tightly, My anger I am forced to hide. I look down upon her, She cried in sadness and in pain. I try and comfort her with words, In my mind I wish the man slain. “He will soon pay for his deeds,” I promised and kissed her cheek. She simply smiled and leaned against me, Inside my anger reached its peak. That night I tossed and turned, Unable to get any sleep. More menacing thoughts appeared, And in my mind they did creep. Thoughts of rusty blades, A wooden spike and gasoline. Thoughts of slicing him to pieces, And leaving him for dead upon the scene. I wake from my dream of golden thoughts, To a harsh reality. I knew what I wanted to do to him, But I knew it could not be.
