I Walk Alone
How can life around me be lived so fast and furiously yet I feel alone?

* The first verse was written by me in the loneliness of my first marriage. When my future second husband found it, he wrote the last two verses and left it for me on my mirror.

I walk
one of many
in the crowd on the street
hustling, bustling, charging through life
alone.
------------------------------------
Alone no more
For now I walk with thee
Wherever you go
I am there.

I'm the cool breeze
You feel in the sweltering summer days
I'm the sudden warmth
You feel on long, cold nights.
I love you to no end.
