I'm a Mother
As mothers we meet ourselves coming and going, but it takes so little to make us happy.

Bathe the babe,
Stop a fight,
Make the beds,
Fly a kite.
I'm a mother.

Dust the table,
Stir the soup,
Mend a shirt,
Don't get pooped.
I'm a mother.

Hang the clothes,
Feed the cat,
Sweep the floors,
Shake the mat.
I'm a mother.

"I love you, Mom,
I'm a lucky boy!"
It takes so little
To give me joy.
I'm a mother!
