Eve Speaks The world has changed And I with it! Cursed is the slithering serpent now; Cursed the ground on which we walked; Cursed the womb of life. Silence lay on the garden, As we strolled its manicured paths, Two lovers alone in a world of our own. Alas, The world has changed And I with it! I am not the girl child, Who gazed longingly into his eyes; I have become a woman; I know a woman's pain and sorrow. Born female In a male world. I am no longer content To be the scapegoat for his sin. Adam Speaks Choice that's the pivot of the whole incident: choice and responsibility! Before The Fall there was neither question nor answer; neither choice nor responsibility; neither faith nor doubt. Now we have both! A lamentable condition to be responsible for my own choices, for my own salvation. God does as He pleases He will not be asked of His doings, but I am required to explain my choices.
