Chipped paint is lovingly scraped,
flaking white paint gently removed
from my surface.
Mmmm…
like a good back scratch,
I’ve been waiting for this for a long time.”

“Oh, for the love of the sun!
Would you look at that?
That heathen fence,
naked for anyone to see.
Oh the humanity!
What will the neighbors think, to see a fence so bare?”
