I thought you loved me I thought that you cared Once love did abound In the home we shared You came home at night Demanding your meal Not another word you spoke You never say how you feel Then out the door you would go Another lonely night for me Spent crying into my pillow Remembering how it use to be Then came that night You came home to pack You had found someone new And you didn’t look back Since she threw you out You think I want you back If that’s what you think You’re on the wrong track I’ve found a new love To set my sights on I’ve made him my own Since you were gone You treated me badly Love you did lack I’m starting all over And I’m not looking back
