Sea of Souls
As seas they rise The pirate cries Spread fear to the hearts of mortal men With ship unseen Just battle scream A prelude to the great amen For in this night This pirate sight Ethereal for they’ve long passed Though still they kill For it’s their will A fortune must be amassed Long ago they drowned All duty bound To rape, maim, kill and plunder And in this death They find no rest Sailing through nightly storms of thunder All Sea men pray They see no day To meet with these souls deceased For all those slain Will walk the plain To never be again released If you enjoyed this poem and would like to read more of my work I currently have two books available that can be obtained through the links below.
