God Save The Queen

Angels' tears seem lost in a world that will not hear,
The universe now domintated by hate and fear,
Heaven's army cries with defeated screams,
As hell celebrates their now realized dreams,
And down on earth we're all so busy fighting we don't care,
What does it matter to us how strangers fare,
And if we stop battling for our cause,
Taking just one moment to pause,
It's only because we're reloading,
While hate and fear into our children we're encoding,
We form alliences to kill their tommorrow,
Destining them to a world of regretful sorrow,
What does it matter if we destroy the future,
Our leaders taught us peace is too costly a cure,
Lucky for us, we won't be there anyways,
It'll be someone else's problem in those days,
Everyone tells their kids to fix their mistakes,
But we're allowed to leave destruction in our wakes,
And because someone somewhere said it was okay,
I think we're going back out to war today,
So dear soldier if you don't come home I appologize,
But your death I'm just going to have to disguise,
After all, no one wants to face the facts anymore,
In the public lie you'll have to live forevermore,
Otherwise we might have to admit you can't fight hate with hate,
And that might force us to change our self-made fate,
It's been too long for anyone to bother trying,
In this sad day it's easier for us to ignore our world's dying,
Now I'm wondering if we don't see does that make it somehow unreal,
Can we stop the world's pain if we refuse to feel,
Guns come with silencers now so that we don't have to hear the shot,
That death to our peaceful world brought,
We can program our bombs and then pleasently forget,
About the civillians we just might accidentally hit,
Everyone can make a speech about defeating terrorizing regimes,
But now we're becoming the greatest danger to them it seems,
We're the worlds strongest hypocrites no one dares to defy,
And now we're playing God, deciding who deserves to die,
So if you dare to disagree silence is your only option,
When it comes to fighting you know you cannot win,
It seems that freedom of speech no longer applies,
