Shooting Star
Feelings for a shooting star.

You came into my life, and shined so brightly
I would go to sleep, and dream of you nightly
You gave my life new meaning
I fell hard for you, without reasoning

You came into my life, as a gentle breeze
Being with you and talking to you, I was at ease
Every minute we were together, meant so much to me
To be with you forever, was my only plea

As gently as you came into my life
You leaving me, cut me like a knife
You made me question my judgment
You have put me thru so much torment

You were at first, my shooting star
In the end, you made my life so bazaar
I would have never thought I could be so blind
I would have never believed you, could have been so unkind.
