Didn't I hear you call my name? Thank God it's just my dreams. You see, it's all I can do, To relieve the pain of you. There's no drug I can take, For your poison of the heart. No pill that can be ingested, No cure for you once infested. There's no Doctor I can see, No magic elixir I can drink. There's no serum to dam the flow. The venom of you never lets go. If I had known it was all a game, I would've spent more time on the rules. Then you would've found a smarter player. It would've been harder to peel me layer by layer. Now I'm cored and left wide open, Just another pit to be thrown away. The fruit that was me is forever lost. Time with you carried a high cost.
