Do not Cry my Child

Do not Cry my Child

Rest now child
All too soon
Your time has passed
Three months was all you were ever meant to have
Still do not cry
For what a wondrous and joyful short time
You felt the love of a caring mother
The pride of a doting father
You were their life
You were truly loved
You left before you had to experience the darker side of life
The tragic loss of those you loved
The betrayal of someone you thought a friend, maybe even a lover
That total heartbreak
Hurt
Fear
Abuse
In life love was all you knew
In death that will live on
So do not cry
Follow the light my child
Gain your wings
And remember the love
