Tread Lightly Tread lightly, please The ground you walk Is fragile, Each step you take Can bend or break It all. Tread lightly, please This is all I Would ask you, Please watch your step Give her your best, My boy. Tread lightly, please My daughter is So gentle, And careless steps Can make or break Her heart. Tread lightly, son, I know that my Girl loves you. Heed the ground you Tread with careless Longing It's land I own And land I love. Tread lightly.
