"Zak. I said I'd give you a ride. Please don't lecture me on conspiracies," Muzzy flipped in a George Carlin CD. "You can see the rubber mask peeling on his throat." Zak sips his Polar Pop. "Why would President Joe Biden be replaced by an imposter? Vice President Harris could take on his duties, if necessary." Muzzy turns down the next road and puts the high beams on. "God, when is Maine going to spend some money on street lamps?" Muzzy mutters. "She doesn't want any part of succeeding the USA to China." Zak sips his Polar Pop, "This country is bought and owned by China." "Is that a bear?" Muzzy slows the van down. Zak squints and pulls out his night vision scope. "Yeah. Black bear with cubs. Don't spook her." Zak reaches back for his rifle. "No. Zak. No." Muzzy stops the van. "I am not carrying a bear carcass and her cubs in my van." The shadowy figures move on into the woods. Muzzy resumes his drive to the supermarket. "China needs our business," Muzzy slows down for deer crossing. "China has an aging population and a shortage of child-bearing women." "And they're running out of drinkable water," Muzzy sips his water. "Yeah, they want our land and our women and our water." Zak sips a beer and burps. "I can't believe you let those deer go."
