Bittersweetly (the longing)
My desire to sing to you
romantically, wistfully,
beautifully a tune I know
all too well
         bittersweetly longing
to coalesce our spirits
         but cannot
grasp, fathom
the words
to recitate, elucidate

my head lowing,
longing for you
sing the melody
to me

I'll learn, yearn
to know it
like you.
