To 'Abdu'l-Baha

“Oh! that I could travel, even though on foot and in the utmost poverty, to these regions and raising the call of Ya Baha’u’l-Abha in cities, villages, mountains, deserts, and oceans, promote the Divine Teachings! This, alas, I cannot do! How intensely I deplore it! Please God, ye may achieve it.”23

At the age of 64--
after 58 years of imprisonment
and exil--
'Abdu'l-Baha
traveled to the west
to proclaim
Cause of God.

On August 21, 1911,
'Abdu'l-Baha
began a 3 year teaching trip
that took him
across 3 contents.

He taught
peace in Paris and London,
and racial unity
in the United States.
