Happy June, all! It'll be in the 80s and 90s this weekend and all next week, which I am very excited for. I plan to spend many hours on the boat and in the lake  June 12th will be my TENTH anniversary on WDC, if you'll believe it. Wowza! I don't know if I believe it myself - haha!I completed the "Promptly Poetry Challenge (2023-2024)"  last month, and decided not to continue for another year just because I'm feeling the need for a mental break. I managed to complete the challenge (yay) but some of the poems I ended up with weren't my favorites and it sort of felt like a chore after a while, which I know is on me, but I'd like to give my brain a rest for a bit and see what new inspiration comes up.Here's what I wrote in May:
