I am vulnerable with God.
For my blog

Take UP Your Cross

Prompt for September 16th
Prompt:
Am I vulnerable with God? Do I invite him in to know my pain, weaknesses and fears?
Do I open myself up to be corrected, trained and instructed by God’s word?

Answer:
The answer to all of the above is a resounding yes. Who else can I trust so completely. I tell him things I don't talk to anyone else about.

Reading the Bible without the Holy Spirit is like trying to see yourself in the mirror when there are no lights turned on. When the Holy Spirit comes in, there is light. You can then see yourself clearly enough to make changes. You can brush your hair and make sure everything is where it needs to be. That is what the Holy Spirit does with the Bible.

Prompt: In a world full of trends, I want to remain a classic. Write about this in your Blog entry today.

This is pretty much how I have always felt. I don't want to fit the mold and be like everyone else. I don't want to keep up with the Jones's. I just want to be me.

 Beneath A Hunter's Moon  (E)
A nature poem that, I think, could easily make the transition to lyrics.

Write about this item in your Blog entry today.

This is a good poem about a pack of wolves. It makes sense to me.

Please use these words in your entry today: fling, sing, wing, outside, dried and divide. Choose another word that rhymes with either the first three or the last three to tell us a story.

I had a fling.
He did sing.
About a wing
In a sling.

It will divide
Wind outside
When it dried
The bird tried.

He had to bring
A broken wing
Tied in a sling
A very sad thing.
