Tsunami
September 29 Prompt: A different kind of prompt tonight. "Speak soft my name". Tell us your thoughts about it. You don't need to write a review of this poem, read it, tell us what you think.

An excellent poem describing the life cycle of a tsunami, from its birth at an undersea quake to its dissipation and slumber after wreaking havoc on the land and its unwary dwellers. The tension builds as the poem moves on, lending a quickening pace to the text. I really like the verse with the name's last syllable - "me...me...me" - as well as the final verse.
