When Again...
Images hammered on the canvas, dark.
But not good enough to attend.
Devoid a life promised, I bust the medium.

Reimagined words spurred by rampage
Stain all who near the re-creation.
Why didn't they tell me, no wit,
You cannot change an atom?

Blood purged -- collected and flushed.
Hands bandaged -- heal with time.

One day the sun re-arrives
From perfect vantage in glowing pane --
A perfect instant -- and I knew
Hopeful creativity had purpose again.
