The elders have whispered of him for years, the creature in the sky. They say he comes on summer days, bringing weapons of war and kidnapping those unlucky enough to cross his path. No one is safe, nothing is sacred. No one knows where you go if you’re taken, none come back. If you see him, swim away as quickly as you can, no looking back. Avoid any strange worms or bugs, shiny things aren’t for eating. These are the rules we live by. The fisherman takes and never gives back, and we live in fear. He will never stop.
