Mental Illness Awareness Month
Mental illness is like physical illness
All the aches and pains of emotion
Not everyone is aware
But help is on the way

Books are out there
Call lines are out there
The word spreads rapidly
Mental illness is being learned

Schizophrenia
Bipolar
Depression
Anxiety

Suffering like physical pain
Relievers are on the way
Therapy is soothing
And there are doctors for it

Mental illness comes and goes
Treatment will help control it
Awareness goes a long way
Rising supportive people
