Choices?
I once saw a movie with Al Gore,
who predicted the oceans will rise more,
might even reach the second floor...
Then he bought a house by the sea shore.

It’s all in the choices they make.
They’ll tell you what steps to take.
They can guide the Earth’s fate,
so you don’t change the climate.

Now, Leonardo DiCaprio
takes a jet wherever he goes.
He’s saving the Earth, even though
trails of carbon behind him flow.

It’s all in what they say
not what they do, so obey.
Without guidance you’d go astray
Why do you need choices anyway?

It’s out-dated, this democracy,
we need a climate autocracy,
a government of celeb aristocracy
(just ignore their little hypocrisies).

If you eat that steak you'll kill the Earth,
but of cockroaches there is no dearth.
You could stand to lose some girth.
They will decide what your life is worth

They’ll choose what and how much you eat,
they’ll tell you when you can turn on the heat,
knit socks by candlelight to warm your feet,
they need the fuel for their limousine fleet.

These are the choices that face me
in a world that wants to erase me.
No longer is Earth a place we
can pursue happiness and stay free

One day, the earth may be destroyed
by space rocks we can't avoid.
NASA surely would be annoyed,
But I’m rooting for that asteroid
